Bio

Susan Zweibaum has more than two decades of expertise across nearly every aspect of the marketing mix in a wide range of products and services including pharma, insurance and consumer products.  Her expertise is diverse and includes customer experience (CX), digital marketing and ecommerce, consumer promotion, PR, sponsorship marketing, relationship marketing, event and trade marketing and promotional media.

She believes in the integrated approach to marketing that brings all of the disciplines together to create strong strategic plans that reach and motivate the target audience to action.

Susan has worked with many #1 and #2 brands in their categories driving successful programs that drove positive ROI and bottom line sales.  Prior to developing MarketingSmith she managed all consumer promotions and PR for over 12 brands as the head of the integrated marketing department of Playtex.  Her extensive resume highlights include the development of a 12-million-unit sampling program driving positive ROI, multiple sports and entertainment sponsorships, endorsement deal program management with Olympic gold medalists, PR crisis management surrounding BPA-free infant products and sun-care ingredients and the development of an interactive mobile marketing campaign for the History Channel that won a Promo Magazine ProAward for best Multidiscipline campaign. Additionally, she has managed online and offline marketing for an online retailer and initiated many online campaigns for the brands she has supported.

With experience from both the client and agency perspectives, Susan has developed marketing strategies and initiatives for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies working effectively with both internal personnel and external resources.  She is sought out not only for her knowledge but for her ability to identify and build strategic relationships with outside resources that drive brand success.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.
